ABOUT MAGGIE

Nice to Meet Ya!

My name’s Maggie and I’m an actor from Baton Rouge, LA with a BFA in Acting from Texas Christian University. Go Frogs!

I am currently based in South Louisiana and am gearing up to move to New York City in August of 2025!

Performer and Storyteller

My love for performing was born in my grandparent’s living room where every Christmas I forced my cousins to participate in a Christmas pageant that I would write, direct, and (of course) star in.

Over the years, a little girl’s desire to show off grew into a passion for storytelling.

I love becoming a character and figuring out what makes them tick. I love working with other artists to make something beautiful. But most of all, I love making audiences feel something.

Stories and the ways they make us feel are magical. And I intend to spend my life creating that magic for others.

Adventure Seeker

I am a lover of all things that get my adrenaline pumping. Skydiving? Check. Haunted houses? Sign me up. Roller coasters? If my heart isn’t in my throat I’ll be disappointed. My latest adventure, however, was a thrill of a different sort.

In August 2023 I decided I needed a change of scenery, so I packed up and moved to Stockholm, Sweden. For nine months, I worked as an au pair, lived with a host family, and even picked up a little Swedish! En kaffe med havremjölk, tack!

After that I decided to spend three more months exploring Europe. I saw waterfalls and glaciers in Iceland, had my luggage stolen in Prague, worked for a month in a hostel in Portugal, along with many other adventures. I made lifelong friends and memories I will cherish forever! I can’t wait to see where my next adventure takes me.

Avid Reader

I like to read. A lot. In fact, there are very few things I love more than cozying up with a hot cup of tea and a good book and getting lost in another world for hours on end. I’m particularly partial to fantasy, sci-fi, and romance, but I mostly just love a good story! In 2024, I read 47 books and am hoping to make it to 50 this year!

As George R. R. Martin said, “A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one.” Well, I intend to live as many lives as I possibly can.

Positive Thinker

When I worked as a camp counselor, one of our guiding mottos was “attitude is everything.” I am a whole-hearted believer in this mantra. I try to spend my life looking for the good, because I know that when I do, that good multiplies. I believe in the power of a positive mindset and in trusting that the Universe works for our benefit. I love to surround myself with quotes that remind me how freaking incredible life is. I’ve chosen some of my current favorites that you’ll see around my website :)

“You are never truly alone or helpless. The force that guides the stars guides you too.”
